Does Free Antivirus Software Free You From Worry

In a word – no.
However, honestly, the same could be said for any antivirus program on the market – you just aren’t going to have total and complete 100 protection. There are a number of reasons for this but what it ultimately boils down to is the factor that contributes to a computer virus – a user. As I’m sure many of you with t1 internet know from doing the research, computer viruses are manmade – and just as some people are always looking for new ways to cause mischief, new viruses are always being developed.
This, however, does not mean that free antivirus software is not worth your time, but you need to do a little research. If you have a secure t1 connection or anything similar through places like smallbusiness.xo.com, then you need to take the time to read up on these. There are a few out there that are genuine like Malwarebytes and Spybot Search and Destroy, but there are also fakes that can do more harm than good.
The bottom line is that if you have the money, consider investing in a mainstream antivirus program. Most of them can actively monitor your computer and if you have an active t1 connection they can even auto-update. If cash is tight, however, then these free programs are worth a look. After all, some protection is better than none.
